The family of a 15 year old girl that died in an incident at a caravan park last weekend have released a heartfelt tribute today.

Amanda Selby was staying with her family at Ty Mawr Holiday Park in Towyn.

The family said: “Amanda was a loving daughter and grand-daughter – she was caring, thoughtful, liked to help others and very much loved.  She will be very sadly missed.

“We ask that our privacy is respected at this difficult time.” 

Amanda's 19 year old brother Matthew stands accussed of murder and appeared via video link at Mold Crown Court on Wednesday. He will stand trial at the end of February.

The family continues to be supported by specialist police officers.
