Two women have tragically died following an incident, yet to be disclosed, in the National Park.

North Wales Police were called to Nant Gwynant in Eryri on Wednesday evening, where one woman was pulled from the water while another was subsequently found in the pools on the Watkin Path.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing, and witnesses are urged to come forward.
