North Wales Police have warned trades people who keep tools and equipment overnight to be on their guard after a local theft overnight.
This morning a tradesman in Penrhyn Bay went to do a job and on opening the van, it was discovered that his tools were missing.
Officers reported that there were no physical signs of entry or that the van had been tampered with.
Whilst it is not known for sure how this has happened. However, it has been speculated on social media that along with a range of possibilites, duplicate or master keys could have been used in the theft.
The Community Safety Unit have warned anyone with valuables, equipment or materials to ensure these items are secured particularly overnight from working vans.
