North Wales Police have made an appeal for witnesses to come forward following an assault at Porth Eirias in Colwyn Bay last night (Saturday 5 June).

In an update today, officers have reported that a youth received a head injury after an incident at 9.30pm.

It has been reported that a large number of young people were in the vicinity and Police are appealing to anyone who saw the incident or has information which could trace the person responsible to step forward.
