A 37 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two women are wounded at an address in Rhyl, 

Shortly after 9.30am today, officers responded to reports of a wounding incident at an address on Meredith Crescent, Rhyl.

Upon attending the property, officers located two females who had sustained injuries. Both were assessed at the scene by attending paramedics.

One individual was transported to hospital by Air Ambulance, while the other was conveyed by land ambulance for further medical treatment.

A 37-year-old man was detained at the scene and arrested in connection with this incident. There is no ongoing threat to the wider public.

Scene preservation currently remains in place at the location whilst forensic officers conduct enquiries.
