Work continues to take shape at the Four Crosses Arena

Despite the lack of football action over the past year, plenty of work has been going on behind the scenes at Colwyn Bay FC as they plan ahead and look forward to the future.

The club have now been granted planning permission by Conwy Council to erect a TV gantry, which is one of the criteria required in order to secure a Tier One licence.

Bay officials have also been in discussions with a number of companies over the provision of new floodlighting at the Four Crosses Construction Arena.

Extra seats have been fitted in the main stand to bring the ground’s overall seating capacity to 500 and general maintenance work, including painting, is ongoing.

The turf is also getting plenty of attention and this week 360 Groundcare have been working on the Llanelian Road pitch including sanding and seeding.

The social club too has also refurbished thanks to the efforts of supporters over recent months and new flooring is set to be laid over the coming weeks.
