Fright Week is returning at the Welsh Mountain Zoo – National Zoo of Wales! Loaded with tonnes of spine-tingling activities, this Halloween there’ll be plenty of fun for little visitors – and big!
Running from 29th October to 6th November, the Zoo invites visitors to join them in the Great Pumpkin Hunt, hear tales of spooky stories and for the bravest to take part in the Boo! Boxes educational activity - full of frights. There’s lots of creepy crafts and the ever favourite, a pumpkin carving competition!
Charlotte Dykes of the Welsh Mountain Zoo commented: “We wanted to make this year’s Fright Week extra special here at the zoo, by introducing lots of terrifyingly terrific activities for everyone to enjoy.”
The full catalogue of events will be taking place every day throughout the October half term, in what is always one of the most popular times of the year to visit the Zoo.
Charlotte added: “Autumn is such a wonderful time of the year to make a trip to the Zoo when the colours are changing and the leaves are falling. We are looking forward to being host to some spookily scary activities this Halloween!’’
“We expect to welcome lots visitors through the gates this Halloween and would encourage anyone planning a visit to pre book online.”
