An RAF Hawk training jet has crashed on Anglesey shortly after taking off from RAF Valley.
North Wales Police says officers are currently at the scene of an aircraft incident in the Pencarnisiog area, alongside North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, the Welsh Ambulance Service and Helimed.
Police are asking people to avoid the area until further notice.
Reports from eyewitnesses and the local Rhosneigr community suggest the aircraft crashed shortly after take-off from RAF Valley.
Witnesses reported seeing flames as the aircraft climbed, followed by the ejection of two crew members.
One eyewitness said that the aircraft appeared to be in difficulty shortly after take-off and that both pilots ejected before the jet crashed.
A large plume of black smoke was reported following the crash.
An air ambulance has attended the area where the crew members are understood to have come down, with a second air ambulance reported to be on its way to the scene.
Comments from people in the Rhosneigr area also report hearing a loud bang and seeing the aircraft come down in a field. Those reports have not been independently verified.
In an update at 2pm, North Wales Police have confirmed that two pilots are being treated for what are thought to be minor injuries and at this stage there are no reports of any wider damage or injuries.
Emergency services remain at the scene and people are being asked to stay away from the area while the incident is dealt with.
