Hospice appeals for Stock Sorters at Mostyn Street store

Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith are appealing for Stock Sorters to help at their Llandudno store on Mostyn Street.

Receiving around 350 donated bags or boxes per week, there is a lot of work to do behind the scenes in processing and sorting high quality pre-loved fashion and homeware goods.

Store manager Angela Whelan explains: “We rely on our amazing volunteers to help keep the shop looking so good and giving our valued shoppers a great experience.

“We currently only have three team members who work above the shop floor as Donated Stock Sorters and would love to hear off people who have the time to assist us by joining the stock sorting team on a voluntary basis.

“The role would involve sorting donations into seasonal and recyclable stock and would really suit an active person who is happy to dive into bags and discover all the hidden gems!

“Without this vital work our processing would come to a standstill.

“We are blessed with stock from the kind donors in our supportive community and urgently need extra volunteers to help us keep our high quality stock moving.”

Hours are available to suit and volunteers would be part of a team but there may be times where they are required to work unsupervised.

For more information or to sign up as a Donated Stock Sorter, pop into the store at 80 Mostyn Street, Llandudno and ask for Angela Whelan or simply call (01492) 876445.
