North Wales Police have conducted speed checks on Bryniau Road in Llandudno following complaints about speeding vehicles.
Young pupils from Ysgol Ffordd Dyffryn joined the police in the operation.
The highest recorded speed in the 20mph zone was 38mph.
The police say they plan to continue conducting speed surveys near schools in Conwy County to encourage drivers to slow down.
