Bangor University is planning to cut around 200 jobs in order to save £15m, according to an all-staff letter from its vice-chancellor.
The drop in international students, increased costs, and changes to national insurance contributions have forced the university to make these "unprecedented" changes.
The university will hold a meeting with staff to discuss the proposed cuts, address any concerns and plan for the next steps that need to be taken forward.
