The Welsh Parliamentary Member for Aberconwy, Janet Finch-Saunders MS, has spoken of her delight at being invited to cut the celebratory cake, marking 40 years of trading for the Rhos-on-Sea Country Market.
Janet said: “It was absolutely incredible to be able to attend this Country Market and meet the numerous stall holders, residents and organisers. The variety of home cooked foods and handmade products available were truly amazing.
“This Country Market has been at the heart of the community for generations with residents attending their events to purchase locally grown produce.
“Markets such as these really do highlight the incredible food stuffs that are produced right on our doorstep, and I would encourage residents to visit in the future.
“I would also like to thank Ms Joan Hammond, Chair of Rhos-on-Sea Country Market, for kindly inviting me along to this special anniversary event and for giving me the honour of cutting the celebratory cake. I wish all the stall holders and organisers the very best for the future and many more years of success.”
