Colwyn Bay is getting set to enjoy a 'virtual' day at the beach but from home as Prom Xtra lands on the computers and phones of local people this weekend.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown the Promenade based event was sadly cancelled but whizzkids at Conwy Council decided the event which was due to be held on Saturday should be re-staged using archive material and especially created new material especially.
From 9am through to 6pm on Saturday (2nd May) a special line-up has been created which can watched safely online at home via the Virtual PromXtra site.
The schedule which has just been announced will include special entertainment for the children in the little ones in the morning and something for everyone after lunch.
Talented local artist musician Sarah Wynn has taken to the Prom Live stage many times and has a great set lined at 12 midday.
The line-up also includes entertainment from Stuart Loughland and his talented team at Magic Light Productions who take their fun and laughter the local schools and events as well as producing a magical annual pantomime at Theatr Colwyn.
