Welsh Water has chosen Abergele as the first town in Wales to receive smart water meters. The meters will help detect and fix leaks faster, reducing water wastage.
Abergele was selected because over 75% of customers in the town already have meters and understand the importance of saving water.
The firm say the project is part of Welsh Water's strategy to save water, support customers in saving money and ensure high-quality services for the future.
