The North Wales Business Academy have just announced that they are currently recruiting for the of the final Young Talent Academy programme due to begin in February 2020.
The fourth and final cohort will give local businesses the opportunity to nominate talented young people and enrol them on a successful 15 month programme.
Over time, young people aged between 18-30 will be given the skills, mentoring and guidance to become new leaders of the future and help their companies increase productivity and bring fresh ideas and perspective to their organisations. The programme aims to develop, inspire and motivate and provide many of the essential skills that the world top business people use each and every day.
The YTA's Excellence in Management qualification is a fifteen month programme consisting of a set day of interactive learning at the OpTIC Technology Centre in St. Asaph once a month and flexible online study.
Those selected will partake take part in three key learning blocks entitled 'Leading a Campaign' 'Learning from the experience of others' and 'Breaking new ground' and will include sessions on marketing and communication, leadership and management, creativity, strategic thinking, global best practice and digital developments.
Many local companies have been impressed with what they have witnessed from the programme. Hadlow Evans Financial Planning said “We have seen a huge improvement in our young managers’ leadership and management skills … so I can only congratulate you on the delivery, it is clearly working!’
