Flooding and high winds have already caused disruption across Wales today.
Many tourism businesses including the Welsh Mountain Zoo and Conwy Castle have been unable to open, some recycling centres in Gwynedd have closed and some homes in the West of the region are without power.
The power cuts are impacting on Arthog, LL14 postcode area, LL55 Llanberis, and LL53 Llyn Peninsula.
Some areas are expected to have power restored by 11 am, with the rest by 2 pm. Scottish Power says that impacted customers should check their website for the latest service updates.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning until 6pm today with three flood warnings in place including for the Conwy Catchment area.
North Wales is facing high winds with gusts of 45-55 mph expected inland, and 60-70 mph possible along coasts and hills.
This morning wind speeds hit 65 miles per hour in Capel Curig. Winds are expected to ease later in the afternoon.
