Mochdre based Brenig Construction has announced that they are working on an ambitious project to build many new homes across North Wales in conjunction with Adra.
Adra was formerly known as Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd and is now one of North Wales’ largest social housing provider.
Brenig Construction will be working on their first new-build development in Trefnant, Denbighshire and this will be their first project to mark Adra's first phase of expansion in the locality. 13 new houses will be built on the development as part of a £1.7 million scheme on a former greenfield site opposite the Trefnant Inn.
It was a natural partnership, with both Adra and Brenig Construction having a strong focus on providing quality homes across the region.
Adra currently look after 6,300 houses and provide much-needed support and services to over 14,000 customers. They have already completed schemes in Wrexham and Conwy and have many more planned for the future, including this newly announced development in Denbighshire.
Group Managing Director, Mark Parry, says: “As a local business it is great to have been awarded a further development scheme to construct 13 new houses for Adra.
"Brenig will be employing local people and using the local supply chain to deliver these much-needed homes in Denbighshire. We will also be providing a number of apprenticeship and training opportunities as the words progress.”
Ffrancon Williams, Adra’s Chief Executive has said: “As a progressive and growing company, we are aiming to build 550 new homes over the next three years.
"We have formed great new partnerships with local authorities, with the Single Access Route to Housing housing register, Tai Teg as well as with many contractors and developers who will work with us on building these homes.”
