Culture vultures, music fans and those just seeking a lovely night out with a movie will be delighted to hear that Theatr Colwyn is opening again shortly.
The popular venue which has hosted many of the town's much loved productions, pantomimes and music performances are set to open their doors from Thursday August 20th.
Initally it will be just cinema screenings which are shown but it is hoped that the theatre is able to host a wider range of productions when the time is right.
To begin proceedings, Emma; Jane Austen's beloved comedy about finding your equal and earning your happy ending, will show at 7.30pm on Thursday 20th, Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd August at 7.30pm.
The theatre says that to keep audiences within their bubbles, and at a safe distance, tickets wil initially only be available to book over the phone on 01492 872000.
More films will be announced soon, with afternoon matinees and children’s films currently in discussion.
