Local historians, residents and visitors will be in for a treat next week as the Llandudno Museum welcomes a speaker to talk about the history of the traditional British seaside.
Historian Kathryn Ferry will the museum's online guest speaker next Wednesday evening (28 July) at 7pm and there is a warm invite for everyone with an interest in the subject to join via Zoom.
Kathryn is one of Britain's most respected social historians, and her speciality is the history of the seaside

From sandcastles, donkeys, piers and sticks of rock, beach huts, paddle steamers, promenade shelters and ice cream cones, our modern seaside is the sum of its parts and all those parts have their history.
