Derbyshire Police have issued an urgent appeal to help locate a 64-year-old man, Tony, who has been missing since mid-February.

Tony, who lives in Mickleover, was last seen leaving his home on February 12 in his silver Ford Focus, registration beginning YM71. It is believed he drove to Sawley, where his car remained in the area until around February 25, but Tony himself has not been seen since.

Police say they are seriously concerned for his safety. Tony is known to visit Llandudno and the wider North Wales area, and officers are asking anyone in North Wales, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, or locally in Sawley who may have seen him to come forward.

In particular, Derbyshire Police are seeking information from anyone who was driving between the Plank and Leggit pub and the Harrington Arms pub in Sawley between 5.40am and 6.40am on February 12. They are also appealing for anyone who may have seen Tony’s car abandoned in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Derbyshire Police on 101 as a matter of urgency using reference 710-020326. Police say any details, however small, could help locate Tony and ensure his safety.
