January 22, 2020 - 957 views

Colwyn Bay Market was recently been granted planning permission for a further three years of operation on Station Road around to Sea View Road in the town centre.

Due to its now secured future, Conwy Council is looking for an experienced manager with a commitment to providing excellent customer service, further developing the strength of the market and someone who has a good working knowledge of relevant statutory legislation.

The Colwyn Bay market currently operates on a Tuesday and Saturday, all year round and offers a much needed meeting place for all members of the community. However, moving forward the market has permission to be run seven days a week all year round depending on the management’s future plan.

It is hoped that the Colwyn Bay market management will deliver a 'Best in Class’ service providing innovative ways to develop, grow and operate general markets alongside street trading activities and events.

Conwy County Borough Council are looking for interested applicants to apply with a business proposal, evidencing that their skills, knowledge and experience can meet the aspirations of the authority and the Colwyn Bay community.
