Clwyd West MS Darren Millar has welcomed Nationwide's commitment to keeping its Colwyn Bay branch open.
In recent years, Colwyn Bay has seen a number of banks leaving the town, so Darren is delighted by Nationwide's announcement that they will remain in the town.
Mr. Millar said: "This is fantastic news for Colwyn Bay and all its residents who have seen the steady decline of banks in the town in recent years.
"So many have thrown in the towel, citing the increase in internet banking as the reason for doing so. It is therefore really refreshing and pleasing to hear from a bank that will be maintaining a presence in the town centre as part of their "continued commitment to serving our members and supporting local communities".
