Residents across Conwy are being invited to have their say as the leader of the council launches a new county-wide listening roadshow next month.

The “Here to Listen” sessions are being introduced by Julie Fallon, Leader of Conwy County Borough Council, alongside the council’s Chief Executive.

The events are designed to give local people the chance to hear updates on council work, ask questions directly to senior leaders, and put forward suggestions about issues affecting their communities.

Cllr Fallon said: “These sessions are about giving people in the community an opportunity to speak directly with me and the Chief Executive. To hear a bit about what the Council’s doing, but more importantly it’s an opportunity to ask questions or maybe put forward suggestions.

“The first session will be at Bay of Colwyn’s Town Hall on Rhiw Road on 9 June. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone.”

The first public session will take place at Colwyn Bay Town Hall on Tuesday 9 June from 6pm until 7pm.

The evening will include a short introductory presentation from the council leader followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience.

Space is limited and entry will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Further Here to Listen sessions are also being planned for Kinmel Bay, Llanfairfechan, Llanrwst and Llandudno.
