The Seagulls have been drawn at home to Cardiff Met University in the fourth round of the JD Welsh Challenge Cup.
The tie to be played on the weekend of 15/16 October.
It is another big occasion at the 4 Crosses Arena. Cardiff Met are currently eighth in the JD Cymru Premier with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their six league games played so far.
They beat fifth-placed Barry Town 3-0 in the previous round last weekend with two goals from Adam Roscrow (one penalty) and one from defender Emlyn Lewis.
Met are managed by former Wales, Nottingham Forest, Bristol Rovers and Swansea City defender Christian Edwards.
Bay boss Craig Hogg commented: "Its a great that we are at home, but we know it is a tough draw against a really good side.
"Dr Edwards (Met manager) has done a fantastic job there and we know they have an athletic squad with a number of very good players.
"I did my A licence with one of their long serving players, Charlie Corsby, and young Rhydian Morgan is from up north and is a player I worked with at Llandudno before he went to Met Uni.
"We will go into the tie as underdogs against a good Cymru Premier team, but maybe that is a tag that could work in our favour on the day,
"We will have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We will have a right go and see if Lady Luck smiles on us.
"That game for now is on the back burner, however, as we have a huge task in front of us in the derby against Llandudno this Saturday."
