Seven-year-old Myles, who has a rare neurological condition, will be the special guest at the Dark Run event in Conwy next month.
Accompanied by his mom, Georgia, Myles will participate in the 4km course to raise funds for local children with life-threatening conditions at Hope House and Ty Gobaith.
On the evenings of Saturday October 18th and 25th respectively, the grounds of the Gwynedd Castle and Conwy’s quayside will be start-venues for the colourful and family-friendly Dark Runs
The events, sponsored by Capalona Business Finance, will feature fun runs and walks in bright or spooky costumes.
Georgia said: “I’m really looking forward to bringing Myles and it will be another great memory for him.
“We’ve got him a special spooky pumpkin costume which he loves wearing.
“We’re even raising some sponsorship money for the hospices too.
“Hope House is a place and people we can really rely on. We’re so grateful for them and happy to be helping with this great event.”
Event organisers Sian Golding and Nikki Jones said: “We are so grateful to Myles and Georgia, The National Trust and Conwy County Borough Council for hosting us.
“Both sites really are terrific and make for beautiful backdrops for what is one of our favourite events of the year – they’re bright, they’re spooky but overall, a great evening out that will support so many local children and families living with a life-threatening condition.
“They are always a sell-out so don’t miss your chance and register early.”
The event promises to be a memorable evening for families. Sign up here.
