Llandudno's Coastguard service have reported a very busy week leading up to the start of this week with seven callouts and three training sessions.
As the area begins to mark the start of the school summer holidays, the number of local callouts are beginning to increase.
One of the main incidents in the past week involved horses which had to be retrieved after an incident in Conwy.
"The highlight of the week was rescuing two horses. The horses had thrown their riders on the Morfa, swam across the river towards Llandudno and then made their way along the beach almost to the gun sites.
"Once the horses had calmed down we were able to restrain them and to bring the horses back to safety."
If you become aware of any dangerous situations or become lost or injured on the coast, phone 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
