Colwyn Bay FC have today announced the signing of Dan Atkins from Prestatyn Town.
The 22-year-old forward was the JD Cymru North Young Player of the Season for 2022/23 after with 22 goals in 28 appearances to finish joint top scorer in the division in what was his debut season for the Seasiders.
Dan, who has scored nine goals in all competitions this season and who featured for Prestatyn against the Bay in the Nathaniel MG Cup earlier this season, has also played for AFC Knowsley.
Bay manager Steve Evans said: “We are delighted to get Dan over the line. “He’s been lighting up the Cymru North for a few seasons now.
“He’s a quick exciting young talent who knows where the net is.
“I’m looking forward to working with Dan. He’s hungry to prove himself at this level.
“He’s got a great attitude and work rate and I’m sure he’ll be getting the Seagulls off their seats with his ability to go past players. Welcome to the Bay, Dan!”
The club added their thanks to the Prestatyn Town club for their assistance in allowing Dan's transfer.
