Colwyn Bay have made their third signing of the week in 18-year-old Llandudno-based midfielder Beau Cornish from TNS.

He is the son of former Llandudno favourite James Cornish and has recently returned from Australia.

Manger Craig Hogg commented: "We are really pleased to announce that Beau Cornish will be joining us.

"Beau is from Llandudno and joins us via the TNS FC college system.

"His family moved to Australia a couple of years ago where he played for his local side Nerang Soccer Club in Queensland at youth level.

"He has now returned to the UK and has impressed us.

"He is a powerful and athletic central midfield player and is another young local lad we feel could have a bright future in the game.

"We are pleased he will be joining us and we look forward to helping him develop and grow his game further.

"It is a priority for us as a club to attract and develop the region's best young players.

"With the likes of Kian Owen, Alex Downes, Morgan Owen, along with young Hari Gwylim who is coming through our Reserves, we feel that with new additions of Callum Parry and now Beau Cornish, the club is now achieving that aim at both academy and first team level.

"We aim to develop their potential as we move forward in Welsh football."
