Colwyn Bay eyes up first home win after tricky Ruthin game

Colwyn Bay will be looking to gain their first home league win of the  season when they entertain neighbours Conwy Borough at the 4 Crosses Arena on Tuesday.

The Seagulls currently lead Conwy in the table on goal difference, with both sides having taken four points from their opening three games, and a win could lift them back into the top six of the table following the disappointing home defeat to Ruthin last time out.

Conwy were knocked out of the Nathaniel MG Cup on Friday evening with a 3-1 home defeat against Bay's first round conquerors Holywell Town but will be dangerous opponents against Bay's injury-hit squad, with prolific goal scorer Corrig McGonigle always a threat up front.

Conwy's last visit to the 4 Crosses Arena, in the curtailed 2019/20 season, ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw after the Bay had taken a 4-1 lead.
