Colwyn Bay FC's next game is at home to a Llanidloes Town who are currently unbeaten in the JD Cymru North with a win (3-1 away to Conwy Borough) and three draws in their four league games.

The club expects It should be another good game. Llanidloes have shown good fighting qualities, coming from 0-2 down to draw away to Holywell Town and snatching a late equaliser for a point at Penrhyncoch, and are one of only three sides in the division (along with Guilsfield and Buckley Town) still undefeated.

They have also progressed in the Welsh Cup,, and in six league and cup games so far this season under Llanidloes-born manager Chris Davies, their only defeat was in the National MG Cup against Gresford Athletic in July.

The Seagulls, however, will hope to build on last week's 4-0 victory at Penrhyncoch, with Cai Owen possibly back in contention for a return after missing last weekend's game through  illness.

Looking ahead to the game, Bay boss Craig Hogg commented: "Llanidloes are newly promoted and look like they have adapted to Tier 2 life quite well.

"They are unbeaten in the league and in in their two away games so far have scored five goals, so we know what to expect.

"As for our team news, Sion Edwards and Ilan Hughes remain side-lined through injury along with Kristian Platt and Jordan Carrington, but Cai Owen has resumed training following a bout of tonsillitis which saw him miss the big win at Penrhyncoch,,  and he will be assessed before the game on Saturday.

"That gives us a selection headache for Saturday which is great from a manager's point of view

"The squad is good shape for now, and with one or two players hopefully back in the coming weeks and months we should be strong again.

"Gwion Owen is set to start some mobility work with the team after suffering a knee injury in the pre-season game against Porthmadog."
