Members of the Ladies Team and Junior Girls teams were present and posed for a team photograph with the men’s first team displaying the Her Game Too banner.

Bay’s Ladies team were re-formed in August last year while the club currently has four junior girls teams.

Speaking ahead of the dedicated Her Game Too fixture, Ladies Team Manager Glen Houston said: “We can celebrate International Women’s day and the great strides that have been made to raise awareness of the challenges women face in football.

“It also gives us as a club the chance to thank all the female players, supporters, volunteers and staff for all their hardwork and dedication and to show our heartfelt appreciation.

“Colwyn Bay FC will continue to ensure we are an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of gender can enjoy and participate in the game without fear of harassment or discrimination”.
