Colwyn Bay FC Academy mum Mary Eromosele is stepping up to the plate in the campaign launched by Manchester United's Marcus Rashford to provide food during the half-term break for those children entitled to free school meals.

Mary's son Harvey is goalkeeper for Colwyn Bay's Under-11s team and the family run the Town Fryer Fish and Chip restaurant in Wellington Road, Rhyl.

During the last lockdown she provided free meals to the homeless and supplied Glan Clwyd hospital with free meals for a week.

Now she is offering hot food to children who are entitled to free school meals during the half-time break.
"People need help in these awful times," says Mary.

Any parents whose children are entitled to free school meals are welcome to call her on 07491 957529 so she can have food ready for collection.
