Following the Welsh Government's new lockdown in Conwy, Colwyn Bay FC Academy have had to pause all training for at least two weeks.
Academy Director Matt Sampson commented: "Because we have youngsters from across the North Wales region at the Academy, we have had to pause training and will review the situation once we are guided and given permission that it is safe to do so.
"However, that doesn't mean we stop being productive. The two week pause will give us a chance to catch up on outstanding clerical and administrative tasks and we will also be holding online parent evenings to keep parents informed. We will announcing dates for these in the next week.
"Individual players will also be given 'goals' to work towards for the whole season and these will be created by each respective age group.
"Our hope is that we can get back to group training as soon as possible."
