Will Bell is the latest Seagulls player who has been able to find football elsewhere and has signed for North West Counties side Bootle.
If international clearance goes through in time, he could make his debut in tomorrow night's (Oct 20th) away league game at Charnock Richard.
Will has made 69 appearances at centre back for the Bay, missing only two games in the last two seasons, scoring two goals, and has won Player of the Season awards.
Bay boss Craig Hogg commented; " I'm pleased Will has been able to join Bootle. He has been a great servant for us during my time at the club, playing for the Bay in both the English and Welsh footballing pyramids, and has been Mr Reliable, consistently performing well week in week out.
"He is a popular figure with both players and fans alike.
"We are all frustrated because we can't offer him and the rest of the group football at the moment, but with this opportunity now presenting itself to him, it is one he can't ignore and one we totally understand and support him with.
"I know he is really looking forward to playing football again and we all wish him good luck and hope to see him back at the Bay in the future."
