A 44-year-old man has been jailed following a burglary at a local hotel.
Jonathan Matthew Payne, of Princes Drive, Colwyn Bay, appeared at Llandudno Magistrates' Court earlier today.
Payne pleaded guilty to stealing cash and tobacco from a room at the Norfolk House Hotel, Colwyn Bay on Sunday, 3 August 2025.
The stolen items were subsequently recovered by officers after Payne was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Payne, who was also charged with an earlier offence of racial harassment, was sentenced to 12 months in prison.
