Colwyn Bay Pride is back for 2025 with a packed day of live entertainment, community activities, and cultural celebration on Sunday 11th May.
This year’s event also welcomes Transport for Wales as the Official Travel Partner, encouraging visitors from across the region to travel by train and lower their carbon footprint. With direct rail links and the station just minutes from the seafront, arriving sustainably has never been easier.
Set along the stunning beach and promenade, Colwyn Bay Pride will transform the town with a vibrant programme of performances, family-friendly attractions, stalls, and street celebrations. Whether you're a local or visiting for the day, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Headlining this year’s event is the sensational Young Elton Tribute on the Main Stage at 18:00, delivering a high-energy performance filled with iconic hits and flamboyant showmanship from one of the UK’s leading tribute acts.
In tribute to The Vivienne, a must-see moment will be the Drag Your Heels Catwalk, taking place on the eye-catching Pieramid Stage at 12:00 — expect fierce looks, local talent, and big personalities strutting their stuff by the sea.
The day will also feature a diverse line-up of live music and performances from across Wales and beyond, alongside dedicated community and family zones offering interactive stalls, youth activities, and safe spaces for all ages.
A food and craft market will showcase the best of local produce, street food, and handmade goods from talented makers.
Transport for Wales are helping to make the event more accessible and sustainable for everyone. With strong public transport connections, organisers are encouraging attendees to skip the car and take the train for a hassle-free journey to the heart of the festivities.
“We’re making 2025 our most accessible, entertaining and exciting event yet,” said Kai Davies, Event Manager. “With fantastic support from our key supporters including Together for Colwyn Bay, Gwynt y Môr Wind Farm Fund , RWE, Conwy County Borough Council, Transport for Wales, Bay of Colwyn Town Council, National Lottery Awards for All and a great programme in place, it’s shaping up to be a brilliant day for the town and the whole region.”
Colwyn Bay Pride is a free, family event welcoming everyone to take part. Organisers are inviting the public to get involved, attend, and show support.
