Supporters at Colwyn Bay FC say they are deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of fan Dave Glynny Jones.
Glynny loved his football and was a season ticket holder at The Bay for many years.
A spokesperson for the club said: "Our thoughts go to Ange and the family at this difficult time. Dave was a larger than life character who loved an away day and touched the lives of everyone he met at the club.
"He was most definitely one of our own."
The Colwyn Bay FC supporters committee have launched an appeal to raise funds so that they can sponsor the first team tracksuits and training kits in Glynny’s memory for the upcoming season.
The plan is for the kit and tracksuits to all have Glynny Jones written on the back. Any monies raised over the target figure will go to St Davids Hospice.
