Conwy County Borough Council have published an update on the status of local public services as of this morning (Mar 20). Council Leader Councillor Sam Rowlands has also published a message to local residents and council workers.
Schools
Following the latest guidance from Welsh Government, all schools across Conwy county will be closing early for the Easter break.

Social Care
As a result of the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 virus and in order to ensure the delay of spread amongst communities, the decision has been made to temporarily close learning disability day services at Canolfan Marl, Canolfan Riviere, Children’s Clubs and work opportunities.

Galw Gofal is operating as usual, providing 24/7 emergency telecare and out of hours call monitoring service to help protect older or vulnerable people in their own homes. Galw Gofal is committed to helping customers remain safe and well at this time.
