Everyone in Wales along with visitors and tourists will be asked to wear face coverings in shops and other indoor public spaces as cases of COVID-19 continue to increase across the country.

The announcement from First Minister Mark Drakeford is set to be expanded on when Welsh Government make their address around 12 noon on Friday.

In response to statistics which say that 20 people in every 100,000 have the virus, urgent steps have been taken to try and slow the spread.

Indoor meetings of more than six from an extended household will also be illegal from Monday.

The rule will not apply to children under 11 and up to 30 people from different homes can still meet outside.
