North West Wales has once again seen a marked increase in new Covid-19 cases according to the Public Heath Wales dashboard today.
As part of 213 new cases from across Wales, Flintshire has recorded an additional 26 cases whilst Denbighshire had 17. In Wrexham there were 12 cases, 11 in Conwy, 3 in Anglesey and 2 in Gwynedd.
The latest analysis now puts both Conwy and Flintshire, as the top counties in Wales for Covid infection. There is mounting evidence that the delta variant is increasing the risk of transmission in all North Wales localities.
