Event goers to Theatr Colwyn and Venue Cymru are being reminded that new rules apply to admission from today as a result of changes to Welsh Government rules on COVID-19.
On Monday the law changes to state that proof of vaccination status or evidence of a negative COVID test is required as a condition of entry.
A message to all customers explains the new rules. "We are contacting all our customers following the latest change to the Covid-19 Welsh Government guidance.
"From Monday 15 November you will need to provide proof of your Covid status when attending ALL theatre performances and cinema screenings at Venue Cymru and Theatr Colwyn.
"You can do this in the following ways:
- The digital NHS Covid Pass - The NHS COVID Pass lets you share your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination records and test results in a secure way.
- A paper version of the NHS Covid Pass.
- Confirmation of a negative Covid test result by email or text within 48 hours of the event. A PCR or Lateral Flow Test are both acceptable.
- Under 18s are exempt. A photo I.D. will be required as proof of age if you look over 18.
"If you are 18 and over and cannot provide the above proof, under the latest Welsh Government rules we cannot allow entry to the event."
