Seagull's boss Craig Hogg has given an update on the injury which Tom Creamer suffered during the game against Llandudno.

The 23-year-old midfielder was carried off during the second half and left the ground on crutches.

“Early assessment is that it is not good,” Craig said. “It’s an ankle injury and we will know more once the swelling goes down in the next 24-48 hours.

“I’m disappointed for Tommy because I thought he did well today and has done well in the last couple of games for us as well.
“He was a loss when he went off, but it’s about making sure he’s healthy and fit and there’s no long term impact on him.

The Bay have a free Saturday next weekend, with the next game the home JD Welsh Cup tie against Cardiff Met on Saturday, 16 October.

“Ideally we’d have a game quite soon to bounce back and get the Llandudno defeat out of our system,” Craig added.

“Now we’ve got the break, but there’s a lot of hard work within that break as well.

“Cardiff Met will be the club’s biggest game in its recent history and certainly in terms of the live TV broadcast as well.”
