Rugby fans are in for a treat as the final Crusaders home game is held at Stadiwm Zip World next weekend.

To mark the match against London Skolars on Saturday September 11th, the club is holding a Community Day and offering free entry to all fans as a way to thank everyone for their incredible support.

Crusaders are currently on a seven-match winning streak, equalling a club record set back in 2013, and the regular campaign will come to a close against Skolars at Stadiwm Zip World.

The club will be working with local sports clubs, groups, businesses and other organisations around the Community Day and an added bonus will be that all supporters can enjoy live rugby league in the Bay completely free.

Crusaders chief executive Andy Moulsdale said: “Since our move to Colwyn Bay, the response from local people has been incredible and we can’t thank our fans new and old for making everything go as smoothly as it has.

“These past 18 months during the pandemic have been challenging for us all and, without our supporters, we simply wouldn’t be where we are now.

“While our Community Day is all about engaging with the local community and introducing them to the brilliant sport of rugby league, we also wanted to thank all our fans by offering them the opportunity to watch a match on us.

“The coaching staff and squad have done a great job so far in 2021 and it’d be fantastic to see a strong crowd at Stadiwm ZipWorld as the regular campaign draws to a close.

“We’ve had some exciting news this week, with a number of key players committing their future to us, and we have plenty more planned in the coming months as we look to continue developing the club.”

While you’re able to walk up on matchday and gain entry, you can also claim your free tickets online and that’ll help us monitor crowd numbers.

For supporters in the East of the region, a coach will be running to Colwyn Bay on Saturday, September 11, leaving The Turf in Wrexham at 11.30am. Spaces are priced at £6 per person and can also be booked online.
