This morning there has been much speculation on the fate of Iceland in the Bay after it was claimed by some shoppers that the store was displaying a 'closing shortly' sign.
The store which is one of the most popular retailers in the town has been important for bringing customers into the Bayview along with the anchor tenant, Morrisons supermarket.
Customers have speculated that the store could be closing for good at the end of their lease, others have suggested a refit may planned whilst others have contacted Iceland customer services only to be told that they are not aware of any planned closure.
The nearest Iceland store to Colwyn Bay is on the Mostyn Champney's retail park in Llandudno.
