North Wales Police are aiming to take more knives off our streets with the return of the national weapons amnesty.
During the week of the 15th to the 21st of November there will be a national police operation called Operation Sceptre.
The campaign is proven to help make areas safer, safeguard and preserve life and provide people who have second thoughts about owning a weapon, dispose of them safely and anonomously.
During this week knife surrender bins will be placed on the police side of the below front counters to maximise the safety and security of the public.
Bins will also be available at local recycling centres to encourage the public to surrender knives but do not wish to attend a police station.
Police Stations : Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Rhyl, Wrexham, Mold, Bangor, Caernarfon, Holyhead.
Recycling Centres: Mochdre, Abergele, Rhyl, Denbigh, Ruthin.
The purpose of the operation is to remove knives and weapons from our communities in order to safeguard and preserve life.
