Time is running out for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens and their families to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme by the end of the day (Wednesday 30 Jun).

If individuals - who need to register don't do so they could lose the right to live and work in Wales and the UK and also access to certain public services and support.

If your application is successful, you’ll get either settled status or pre-settled status, depending on the length of time you’ve been permanently resident in the UK.

If you have lived in the UK for 5 years and over — you can apply for settled status and if you have lived in the UK for less than 5 years you can apply for pre-settled status. If you need further assistance please email: wgprojects@citizensadvice.org.uk

Wales' First Minister Mark Drakeford said: "The contribution you make to our communities, our public services and our businesses is invaluable.

"I understand how hard the last few years have been for you, with all the uncertainty that Brexit has brought, and now, an ongoing pandemic which has made a difficult situation much harder to deal with.

"I want you to know that we want you to stay here, and continue to enjoy the freedom and rights that Wales, as a welcoming nation, can offer you."
