Trading Standards officials in Conwy, with the help of the police, shut down two stores in Llandudno and Llandudno Junction after finding counterfeit children's toys, illicit tobacco, fake cigarettes, illegal vapes, and fake UK currency.
Action following was taken on OK Stores, Conway Road, Llandudno Junction and Llandudno Mini Mart, Mostyn Street, Llandudno.
The closed store in Llandudno Junction received a three-month closure order from Magistrates while a decision is pending for the one on Mostyn Street, with the prospect of a potential 3-month closure.
