Family pay tribute to young man who died in Llandudno crash

The family of a much-loved and cherished young man who sadly died following a collision on the A470 in Llandudno, have paid tribute to him.

Finnley Michael Jones, who lived in Penrhyn Bay, was 20 years old.

They said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother in an accident. He was always the most loving, generous and happy young person, who was enjoying life to the full and he will be most terribly missed by his family and all the many friends who knew and loved him.

“We, his family, are devastated, as we begin to comprehend the loss of Finnley. His positive outlook, his humour and his sweetness will always stay with us and we are missing already the presence of such a wonderful young man. Finnley was a content, optimistic, cheerful and loving young man, and our lives are the better for having known him."  

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the emergency services and the members of the public who assisted Finnley at the scene of this tragic accident and to North Wales Police for their compassion and professionalism dealing with such tragic circumstances, which have deeply touched all who have been involved.

Officers continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision which happened at approximately 8.30pm on Monday the 24th  October, involving a Black Vauxhall Corsa and a White coloured Vauxhall Corsa on the A470 Conway Road, Llandudno.
