The family of a 58-year-old man from Rhyl who died following a collision on the outskirts of Bala have paid tribute to him.

Chris Johnson died following the incident on October 15.

His family described him as an amazing, funny and caring family man who will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

In a tribute, they said Chris loved nothing more than riding his motorbike with friends along the beautiful roads of North Wales, or spending time in the gym.

They said he was always committed to supporting others, including family members, friends and colleagues, whenever they needed help.

Chris was a husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin, and was described by his family as the centre of their lives.

They said: “He could make you smile even at the most difficult times and saw the positives in so many things.

“Words cannot express the impact he had on so many.”

The family have asked for privacy at this difficult time to allow them to grieve their loss.
