The Conwy Valley train line between Blaenau Festiniog and Llandudno Junction will be closed for four weeks starting from September the 29th.
A bus service will be provided as an alternative.
The closure is necessary to remove high-risk trees to prevent future delays and closures due to extreme weather.
Over the past decade, the line has been closed for a total of 500 days because of storms and high winds.
